COMMUNITY MEETING, 7 p.m. at the Bacon District Firehouse, hosted by Kay Pierantoni.

MARCH 7

PRAYER BREAKFAST, 9 a.m. hosted by the ladies and men of Salem Baptist Church, 4050 Salem School Road, Red Oak. Guest will be Evangelist Nadine Chalmers and the Rock of Salvation Praise Dancers and the New Beginning singers. Everyone Is welcome.

BBQ BENEFIT, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Midway Baptist Church, Phenix, for six year old Zeke Puig, who is battling a severe bone/blood sickness. Order by the plate, pound or butt by calling (434) 376-3574 or emailing infor@midwaybaptistchurch.org. A silent auction will also be held.

 

MARCH 8

SUNDAY SERVCIES, at St. Level Baptist Church, located on Highway 15, Clarksville. Sunday School every Sunday at 10 a.m. with a worship service on the second and fourth Sunday at 11 a.m. with pastor, the Rev. Toney W. Smith. Everyone is welcome.

BOOK AND AUTHOR EVENT, 3 p.m. in the old courthouse, Charlotte Courthouse. Local author Barbara Goin Dickerson will speak about her book, “Josie’s Trunk.” Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

MEN’S DAY PROGRAM, 3 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church of Keysville. Come out and join us for good gospel singing and good fellowship. All are welcome.

CELEBRATION, 3 p.m. at Mossingford Baptist Church to celebrate 155 years of teaching preaching and praising God. Guest speaker will be the Rev Vincent Eanes, pastor of the Loneoak Baptist Church Keysville, along with his choir. All are welcome.

BLOOD DRIVE, 2-6 p.m. at Midway Baptist Church. Come out to help save lives.

MARCH 11-13

REVIVAL, 7 p.m. at St. Michael Baptist Church. The Rev. Marvin Bowman, pastor of the Bethel Grove Baptist Church in Clover, will be the guest preacher. A different choir will sing each night.

MARCH 13

POTATO AND CHILI DINNER, 5-7 p.m. at the Randolph District Firehouse hosted by the auxiliary for a donation at the door.

MARCH 14

EARLY CHILDHOOD HEALTH AND WELLNESS FAIR, 9 a.m.-noon at Eureka Elementary School. The target audience is the parents of children ages 2 to 8. The VPI Steering Committee hopes through this event they can promote and support the health and well-being of young students to set a solid and strong foundation for future health and education.

SPAGHETTI DINNER, 5-7 p.m. to benefit Charlotte County Meals on Wheels at Ash Camp Baptist Church, Keysville. Dinner includes spaghetti, bread, salad, dessert and drink.

SOCIAL, 7 p.m. at 771 Greenfield Road, Charlotte Court House, for followers of all faiths and none. Prayers, music, socializing, dinner and refreshments. Everyone is welcome. Call (434) 208-0117 for more information.

MISSIONARY PROGRAM, 3 p.m. at St. Level Baptist Church. Evangelist Mary Knighten of Greater Deliverance Tabernacle Church, Roxboro, North Carolina will deliver the message. All are welcome.

CUE THE COLOR, 9 a.m. hosted by the Fuqua School PTSA at Farmville’s First Avenue Field. Register the morning of the event or in advance at www.fuquaschool.com. Bring your friends for this awesomely fun community event, with a burst of color. No pets permitted.
