In lieu of a company Christmas party this season, Foster Fuels made the decision to donate the party budget to 13 local elementary schools in their market. Employees located near each school represented Foster Fuels as they hand delivered each check.

Foster Fuels’ Mission Critical Marketing Manager David Fredricksen, had the privilege to participate in one of the donation drop-offs. “It is crucial that we uplift those in our community who need it most. The smiles on their faces are sincere and meaningful and I feel fortunate to be a part of that.”

These funds will go entirely toward meeting the unique needs of each school and will directly benefit children in our local communities. Faculty at several schools shared their plans to use the donations to purchase school supplies and books as well as winter coats for students.

Jennifer Bryant-Foster, vice president of Real Estate Sales and Management, and trustee of the Watt Foster Family Foundation, expressed why giving to these schools are so important to her. “While there are so many valuable nonprofits in this community, let us not forget our schools and teachers who work so hard every day for our children. If we want to change the future for our children, we need to start with the schools — both public and private. We can change things one child at a time.” Foster Fuels is proud to support and partner with these local schools who make the community great.
