Deacon Daniel McKinley Walker Sr. returned to his maker at his home in Charlotte C.H. on Sunday, December 1, 2019. He was born on October 5, 1947 to the late Albert E. and Mary M. Walker. Daniel worked many jobs and his last job was with Buckingham Correctional Center, where he dearly loved. In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by brothers, Charles and John Walker and sister-in-law, Jean Walker. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Iris Venable Walker; two sons, Daniel Walker, Jr. and Marques Walker; granddaughter, Mi’Angel Walker; sister, Ethel Fowlkes(Chester); two brothers, Albert and Frank Walker(Eva); host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service was held 1:00 pm Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Galilee Baptist Church in Randolph, VA with interment in the church cemetery. Services of Comfort were provided by Dupee’s Funeral Home of Drakes Branch. Online condolences may be sent to www.dupeefuneralhome.com.
