NOVEMBER 16 

USDA FOOD BANK, 10- 11:45 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Red House with donations from Mt. Zion, Pastor Lewis M. Watson; and Providence Baptist Church, for those who need food in the Phenix and surrounding Red House Community who are residents of Charlotte County. You can receive USDA food at only one site. STEW SALE, 11 a.m. hosted by The Charlotte High Alumni in Charlotte Court House at the Museum building. Stew Master will be Melvin Woodson.

NOVEMBER 16-17 

38TH HOLIDAY BAZAAR, hosted by The Friends of the R. T. Arnold Library at the Dixie Warehouse on Rocky Branch Road in South Hill. Saturday hours, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. There will be over 100 crafters and vendors for the biggest event yet. Stew will be for sale by the Red Oak Stew Crew.

NOVEMBER 17 

FAMILY AND FRIENDS DAY, 11 a.m. at St. Andrews Baptist Church, Cullen. Dinner will be served immediately following the service. Rev. Dr. Maurice Finney is pastor.

THANKSGIVING SERVICE, 11:30 a.m. at Mount Calvary Baptist Church on Mount Calvary Road, Brookneal. The Rev. Spencer will bring the Thanksgiving message. Lunch will be served after service. The public is welcome.

NOVEMBER 23 

STEW, BBQ AND BAKE SALE, 10 a.m. at New Hope United Methodist Church, 6101 Scuffletown Road, Randolph. Stewmaster is James E. Tuck. Pre-order by Nov. 19 by calling Callie Tucker at (434) 454-7418.

DECEMBER 14
