Randolph-Henry High School juniors Brenden Francisco, right, and Jordan Colbert placed in the top half of individual golfers at the 2019 Virginia High School League Class 2 State Tournament on Monday, Oct. 14, at the Pete Dye River Course of Virginia Tech in Radford. Francisco tied for 21st out of 59 golfers; he shot an 18-hole score of 87. Colbert tied for 23rd with an 88. Their performances capped off a season in which they served as principal leaders on a Statesmen team that went 21-3 overall during the regular season and won the James River District Tournament. Randolph-Henry also placed third in the Virginia High School League Class 2 Region A Tournament.
