No injuries were reported following a house fire at approximately 4 p.m. Monday, July 29 on Westpoint Stevens Road in Drakes Branch. According to Drakes Branch Fire Chief, Kenny Tharpe the dwelling was unoccupied,
and it is unknown as to how the fire started. Fire Departments from Drakes Branch, Keysville, Charlotte Court House and Bacon District responded to the scene.
