MUSIC SERIES, 7:30 p.m. Unravelling Beethoven, Nick diEugenio, violin and Mimi Solomon, piano at Crawley Forum, Hampden-Sydney College.

FEBRUARY 16

VALENTINE’S FELLOWSHIP COVERED DISH DINNER, 6 p.m. sponsored by Mt. Carmel/Phenix U.M.C. charge at Mt. Carmel U.M.C. The Rustburg United Methodist Church Handbell Choir will bring the music. Come out and join in the fellowship.

FEBRUARY 17

BLACK HISTORY PROGRAM, 12:30 p.m. following worship services at 11 a.m. at St. Andrews Baptist Church in Cullen. The speaker for this celebration will be Anne Coleman Snead. A soul food dinner will be served. The public is welcome.

BLACK HISTORY PROGRAM, 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church of Dillwyn. Longwood College’s B.A.S.I.C. Gospel Chorus will render the music. Morning service will begin at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mosley, followed by a delicious Soul Food luncheon at 1 p.m. Come out for an afternoon of fellowship, food and growth in your Black History knowledge.

FEBRUARY 22

MONTHLY SELF PAY LUNCHEON, 1 p.m. of the MOAA (Military Officers Association of America) at the Riverside Café in Farmville. All active, former and retired military officers, spouses, widows and widowers are welcome to attend. February’s topic is preparing for/dealing with issues regarding military death benefits.

FEBRUARY 23

STEW, 11 a.m. sponsored by Mt. Carmel U.M.C. Missions, at the shop of Jerry and Brenda Bowers across from Lester’s Fast Mart in Sugar Hill. There will be beef, chicken and beef and chicken mixed. Preorder by calling Pat Moorefield at (434) 446- 3274. Place your orders early as we tend to sell out in advance.

MEN’S SUPPORT GROUP, 7 p.m. 12- week program for men of all ages at the Municipal Room at the Town Hall of Phenix. For questions, call (434) 376-3574.

MARCH 13-15

ANNUAL REVIVAL, 7 p.m. nightly at St. Michael Baptist Church in Drakes Branch. The Rev. James E. Goode, pastor of the church, will deliver the message each night. A different choir will sing each night. Everyone is welcome to attend.

MARCH 16

MEALS ON WHEELS WINTER GALA, 6 p.m. at the SVCC Workforce Center in Keysville. Tickets may be purchased by calling the Charlotte County Meals on Wheels Office at (434) 736-8441, from any board member or at the door.

MARCH 23

ART SHOW OPENING RECEPTION, 6-8 p.m. at the Randolph-Henry High School Library. A meet and greet with the artists will be held and refreshments will be provided. Artwork will be for sale. Participants must be a student at Randolph-Henry. This event is sponsored by the Randolph-Henry High School Art Club and Library Club.
