On January 21, 2019, it was God’s will that Jasmine Michelle Mitter Cartier should go home for her final resting place. Jasmine was born on July 7, 1988 to Steve R. Mitter and the late Jacqueline A. Whitehead. Jasmine also known as “Shelly” was the younger of two children. Jasmine left a loving impression on everyone. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jacqueline Whitehead and stepfather, Harold Whitehead.
Jasmine leaves to cherish her memories: her father, Steve R. Mitter and stepmother, Mary Kay Mitter; loving sister, Ashley Mitter; step brother, Rashawn Watts; devoted grandparents William and Carol Hall and Rosa Mitter; nieces and nephews, Jaylan, Jakayla, Mikhail, Kenya, Khalil, Steffan, and Xavier; aunts, Sonya Fallen (Don) and Jeanie Dixon (Charles); uncles, Mark Mitter and Michael Mitter; special great aunt, Betty Jones (Luther); numerous other great aunts and uncles; host of loving family and friends.
Funeral Services were held 2 p.m., Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Piney Grove Baptist Church in Randolph, VA with interment in the church cemetery. Services of Comfort were provided by Dupee’s Funeral Home of Drakes Branch, VA. Further condolences may be expressed at www.dupeefuneralhome.com
