Hazel Marie Brogdon of Randolph, Virginia, peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 in South Boston, Virginia. She was born in Saxe, Virginia on September 12, 1955 to Ailaher H. Brogdon and the late Mary K. Brogdon.

She is survived by three children, John Brogdon (Amanda), Yolanda and Chaz Brogdon; father, Ailaher Brogdon, Sr.; four grandchildren, Jada, Jayden, Sania, and Jasim; five siblings, Sarah Ailaher, Jr., George (Stacy), Kath, and Cassandra (Fiance, Luther); a devoted Fiance, Harvey Walker; five aunts, Margo Purdy, Elever Durden, Zeanell Brogdon, Jennie Brogdon, and Annie Morton; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service was held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 12, at Mossingford Baptist Church in Saxe, Virginia.
