The Charlotte County All-Star team made far more than an appearance at the 2018 Dixie Boys 15U World Series in Ozark, Alabama. The boys made a significant impact through both their play and their character, finishing third in the event while also bringing home the tournament’s sportsmanship award.

The Charlotte County team featured seven players from Prince Edward County and showcased the quality of baseball talent produced in central Virginia.

Having shown its ability to dominate the competition during its run at the state level, Charlotte was able to achieve some of that same success in Alabama. See this week’s edition for more details.
