Statesmen progress to the next level of athletics

Six Randolph-Henry High School student-athletes participated in a signing ceremony May 16 in the school’s auditorium, officially announcing their commitments to continue their playing careers at the college level. Seated are, from left, Jordan Jones, who will play baseball for Eastern Mennonite University; Caleb Calhoun, who will wrestle for Averett University; Tremaine Pugh, who will play basketball for Randolph College; Derius Marable, who will play football for Hampden-Sydney College; Aaron Crawley, who will play football for North Carolina Wesleyan College; and Evan Mason, who will play golf for Lynchburg College.
