Students in Sherri Pillow’s Economics and Personal Finance Class at Randolph-Henry High School have completed the WISE Financial Literacy Certification Test.

Pillow’s Economic and Personal Finance class recently visited the Bank of Charlotte County in Phenix, Tri-County Ford, Family Dollar and Burger King in Keysville. On these miniature trips, they learned valuable lessons in becoming a smart shopper, finding out about products available for financial planning and banking, creditworthiness and social responsibility. Students expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to gain an invaluable experience locally. The third period class accomplished a 100 percent pass rate on the certification and will be rewarded with a pizza party. Pillow credits the real-world experiences provided by local businesses as a key factor in the students success.
