May 9-11

CHURCH REVIVAL, 7 p.m. nightly at St. Michael Baptist Church in Drakes Branch. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Vincent Eanes, pastor of Lone Oak Baptist Church. A different choir will sing each night. Everyone is welcome.

May 10

BLOOD DRIVE, 1-6 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in Red Oak. Public Fork Christian Church is the sponsor of this drive.

May 12

WOMEN’S DAY PROGRAM, 3 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Drakes Branch. Speakers for the evening will include Superintendent of Hopewell Public Schools Melody Hackney and Assistant Principal of Eureka Elementary Anne Richardson. New Beginnings and Blessed Few will render the music. Refreshments will be served.

May 13

MOTHER’S DAY SERVICE, 11 a.m. at St. Level Baptist Church in Clarksville. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Cynthia Terry. The public is invited.

WORSHIP SERVICE, 11 a.m. at Triumph Baptist Church. All mothers and their children are invited.

May 14-18

REVIVAL, 7:30 p.m. prayer and praise at Gill Hill Baptist Church. Service starts at 8 p.m. The speaker for the week will be the Rev. C.L. Hobbs. A different chorus will be in attendance each night.

May 15

FUNDRAISER NIGHT, 5-9 p.m. at Wylliesburg Tastee Freez. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Randolph-Henry Marching Statesmen.

BLOOD DRIVE, 1-6 p.m. at Midway Baptist Church. Donors will receive a $5 Amazon gift card via email.

May 18

CREWE HOMECOMING FESTIVAL, The event will be held at Hooper Park in Crewe. Food will be available.

May 19

CHICKEN SUPPER, 5-7 p.m. at Salem Christian Church in Fort Mitchell. The menu will include fried chicken, assorted vegetables, dessert and drink. Eat in or take out.

CHICKEN DINNER, 4-7 p.m. at the Abilene Community Center. The meal will consist of fried chicken, mashed potatoes, string beans, cole slaw, homemade rolls and dessert. Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door. For questions, please call Betty Gryder at (434) 223-8343.

SINGING PROGRAM, 3 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church. The Salem Praise Dancers, The Blessed Few, Sister Amy Shearin and The Crawley Family will be in charged of the program. Everyone is invited.

CREWE HOMECOMING FESTIVAL, The event will be held in downtown Crewe and include fun for all.

May 20

PASTOR’S ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. at St. Michael Baptist Church in Drakes Branch. This event will celebrate the 12th anniversary of the Rev. James E. Goode. The Rev. Paul Crews of Millstone Baptist Church will deliver the anniversary message, accompanied by his choir. Dinner will be served. All are invited.

WOMEN’S DAY, 3 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church. Guest speaker will be Kim Carson with Domestic Violence of Halifax and Galilee Baptist Church Shining Stars will render the music. Refreshments will be served. All are invited.

May 21

DEMOCRATIC MEETING, 7 p.m. at the Drakes Branch Municipal Building.

June 4

CHARLOTTE COUNTY AMATEUR RADIO CLUB, 3 p.m. at the Keysville Fire Department. All experienced hams and beginners are encouraged. Classes are available. Call Dan (K5KHZ) at (434) 808-0678 for more information.
