Ray Oliver Townsend, 71, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away April 19, 2018.

Ray was born in Keysville, Virginia on September 6, 1947. He graduated from Randolph-Henry High School in 1965. Ray is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Townsend, five grandchildren, one great grandchild, one sister, Carolyn Dykes (Buddy), two brothers, Alan (Phyllis), Glen, and sister in law, Peggy. Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Grayson Oliver and Pearl Bailey Townsend, first wife, Marlene, and youngest brother, David.

Interment in Plymouth, Indiana.
