Charlotte County Native Stacey Godsey Townsend is a woman of many interests who loves the small town life.

According to Godsey, she was born and raised in Charlotte County and currently works as a PCA at Eureka Elementary School while juggling her own independent Scentsy Consultant business and being the Director of Scentsational Charmers.

Townsend’s love of Scentsy earned her a trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic in 2017, which she said is the furthest she has traveled so far.

In order to earn trips with Scentsy, consultants must put in the hard work to earn points.

However, when asked if she could live anywhere else in the world, she said, “Honestly, here. Something about this small community calls to me.”

She said she has three children, Patrick, 12; Madison, 11 and Alyssa, nine. She is married to Brian Townsend and her parents are Tressy Newbill and Roger Godsey.

When Townsend is not busy working, she enjoys a variety of interests. “I have many interests and passions,” she said. “I love books of all kinds, I enjoy canning vegetables, hunting, fishing, racing and always enjoy watching kids in any and all of their passions no matter what their interests may be,” Townsend said.

She said another special interest she has includes hunting and fishing. “I love shooting guns for fun,” said Townsend.

Some other interesting facts about Townsend include her favorite color is all shades of blue and the fact that she does not like shopping.
