The varsity baseball jamboree at Randolph-Henry High School has been rescheduled to Monday due to school being canceled Friday.

Charlotte County Public Schools stated on its Facebook page that “due to a power outage confirmed at one of our schools, high winds reported throughout the county causing debris on roadways and with official high wind warnings issued throughout the day, Charlotte County Public Schools will be closed today, March 2nd, for all students and staff.”

The jamboree was originally slated for Thursday but was rescheduled because of the rain.

Statesmen Head Coach Josh Barmoy said that his team will scrimmage Appomattox County High School at 4:30 p.m. and Altavista Combined School at 6 p.m. as part of the jamboree. Following this, Appomattox and Altavista will play each other.
