Mr. Roy Baker, age 72 of Red House, died on Feb. 2, 2018. He was the son of the late Mr. Phil Baker and Mrs. Carrie Berkley Baker. He is survived by his lifelong companion, Magelene Lockett of Red House; six children, Roger and Richard Lee Lockett of Lynchburg, Bobby and Randy Lockett of Red House, and Pauline Lockett and Lola Marie Lockett of Brookneal; twenty-one grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one brother, William Baker (Annette) of Red House; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Friday, Feb. 9, 2018 at 1 p.m. at the chapel of Jeffress Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Brookneal. Arrangements by Jeffress Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Brookneal.
