Our all wise and merciful God gently ushered our beloved Deacon Keneth Lee Brown to eternal rest Friday morning, Jan. 26, 2018. Keneth was born on Jan. 10, 1951 to Rev. John Henry Brown and the late Marie Harris Brown of Saxe, Virginia..

Keneth was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Brown and his brother, John Ed Brown. Left to cherish his memory are: his loving and supportive wife of 48 years, Phyllis Brown; father, Rev. John Henry Brown; sisters, Yemaja (Ann Delores) Jubilee and Diane Davis (George); aunts, Ruby Thompson, Betty Brown, Elnora Brown, Lorraine Brown, Ezie Elam and Mary Greene; uncles, Herman Brown (Nannie), Lorenzo Harris, Curtis Harris (Nell) and Earnest Robertson (Audrey); sisters-in-law, Nannie Edmondson (Daniel), Sandra Brown and Vi Curtis Brown; nephews, nieces, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends, including devoted friends, Eric Greene, Virginia Haskins, Elmer & Sue Wilson, Rev. Charles Scott, and Raymond Goode.

Celebration of Life Services were held 11 a.m.. Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018 at the Piney Grove Baptist Church in Randolph, Virginia. Interment was at the Brown Memorial Garden Cemetery in Saxe, Virginia. Service of Comfort was provided by Dupee’s Funeral Home of Drakes Branch, Virginia.
