Pageant planning underway

The annual Miss Charlotte County Pageant will be held Saturday, Nov. 18, at 7 p.m. in the Randolph-Henry High School auditorium. According to a press release, the pageant is open to all girls ages 5-21 who live in Charlotte County or attend Charlotte County Public Schools.
The pageant’s five divisions are: Tiny Miss Charlotte County, for girls age 5 up to the second grade; Junior Miss Charlotte County, for girls in grades third through fifth; Miss Central Middle School (CMS), for any girls who attend CMS; Miss Randolph-Henry, for girls in grades ninth through eleventh at Randolph-Henry; and Miss Charlotte County, for seniors at Randolph-Henry through girls up to age 21 as of July 31.
“The pageant is sponsored by the Randolph-Henry Band Boosters,” officials said in the release. “Applications are available in every school office. There is a $50 entrance fee and all applications must be turned in by Saturday, Nov. 4.”
