Briery Country Club held its annual invitational golf tournament in early July and had 92 golfers participate.

The course was in excellent condition thanks to the efforts of Dennis Overby and his staff, and the weather was perfect for golf.

This year’s tournament was held in honor of Randolph-Henry High School Head Varsity Golf Coach Kelly C. Powell for the dedication he has shown to both Briery and to young golfers throughout the years.

Corbin Pillow and Robbie Elliott won the two-day event with a two-day score of 125, 19 under par. Warren Agee and Justin Mason finished second with a 129. Chad Lipscomb and Chandler Hudson finished third with a 131, and J.A. Devin and Johnny Gill finished fourth with a 135.
