Sign-ups are underway for boys and girls interested in playing Patriots football or cheering.

“Football practice has started,” according to a press release. “Practices are being held Monday-Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the Early Learning Center in Charlotte Court House. Registration is on site during practice.”

According to the release, cheerleading practice begins Aug. 6 at 6 p.m. at the Early Learning Center.

There is space available on the minors, JV and varsity squads. The Charlotte County Youth Football League serves children ages 5-13. All children must be 5 but not over the age of 13 by Sept. 1. For additional information on the program or to register, call (434) 315-4820.
