Elisha T. Spraggins, Sr., age 76, of Charlotte Court House died Wednesday, May 24, 2017 in Farmville.  He was the son of the late Mollie A. Wilkes and the late Wilson W. Spraggins.  He was the husband of the late Martha Spraggins.

He is survived by five loving children from his first marriage to Linda Wright; Cynthia Jean Spraggins, Jacqueline Spraggins-Fontaine (Robert), Glenda Mae Spraggins, Edith Dorethia Turner (Cornelius) and Elisha Tune Spraggins Jr. (Tracey); seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren his brother, Dossie D. Spraggins; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Hall and Dorothy Spraggins-Dowling, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and one special aunt, Mrs. Estelle Miller.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at Christian Tabernacle Baptist Church, 1055 Stage Coach Road, Nathalie with interment in the church cemetery.

Jeffress Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Brookneal was in charge of arrangements.
