Deacon Robert L. Davis Sr., age 93, of Charlotte Court House, died on June 4, 2017 in Farmville.  He was the son of the late Henry Davis and Annie Henderson Davis and the husband of Mrs. Elizabeth Crawley Davis.

Deacon Davis is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Davis; four children, Willie Crawley of NY, Irma Davis of Sandston, Marlene Davis of NJ and Robert Davis of Charlotte Court House; two sisters, Rassie Parsons of Suffolk and Mollie Witsell of New York; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at 2 pm at St. Douglas Baptist Church of Charlotte Court House with interment in the church cemetery.
