Lamonté H. Walton-Roberts was born June 11, 1984 in South Boston. He joined Finneywood Baptist Church in Chase City.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving parents, William and Yvonne Roberts; sister, Priscilla Franklyn Walton, preceded him in death; his brother, Jerry M. Jennings Roberts of Baltimore, Maryland; grandparents, Franklin and Estella Jennings of Drakes Branch, Vernice Tucker of Chase City; eleven aunts, Chris Jennings of Randallstown, Maryland, Lee Estella Jennings, of Raleigh, North Carolina, Latoya McCargo, Brenda Roberts and Sandra Hayes (Donald), all of Chase City, Gazette Staten of Oxford, North Carolina, Cynthia Crawley of Chase City, Annie Walton, of Keysville, Lavert Goode (David), Linda Hurt, and Rose Harris, all of Keysville; four uncles, Frankie Jennings of Keysville, Stephen Tucker, Sr. and Darrell Townsend, both of Chase City, and Wilford Hurt of Keysville; his great aunt, Christine Berkley (Wilbur), of Randallstown, Maryland; his great uncle, Charlie Eubanks (Mildred); and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.

A funeral service was held May 20, 2017 at Bluestone Harmony Center, Keysville, with interment in Finneywood Baptist Church Cemetery, Chase City.
