Longtime Unit Administrative Assistant Theresa Long said her final goodbye to the Charlotte County Extension Office with a going away party Wednesday.

A host of county employees were in attendance to celebrate Long’s service and dedication to the Extension Office during her 29 years of service.

Because she was such a fixture in the Extension Office, Long was recently honored with a resolution from the Charlotte County Board of Supervisors.

The resolution, presented by Phenix/Aspen Supervisor Haywood Hamlet, states, “the Charlotte County Board of Supervisors wishes to express its sincere gratitude and appreciation to Theresa Long for her service, dedication and hard work and commends her for a job well done.”
