Nancy Bailey Kinch

Nancy Bailey Kinch, 90, died May 27, 2017 in Culpeper. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis X. Kinch.
Nancy was born August 22, 1926, in Charlotte Court House, to the late Curry O. Bailey and Geneva T. Bailey. She lived in Culpeper County for 27 years, while married to Foster Cornwell. She was the Postmistress in Lakota, for a short while. She worked for the National Security Agency for 27 years. After retiring, she moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where she owned and operated a flower shop. She later moved to Richmond, and married Francis Kinch. They enjoyed extensive traveling in the states and abroad.
Nancy is a member of Laurel Presbyterian Church in Richmond. She was an active volunteer at the Virginia Home for Boys and Meals on Wheels.
In addition to her parents and step-mother, Lillian, Nancy was proceeded by her sister, Louise Wilhoite; and brothers, Clifford and Thornton Bailey.
She is survived by her son, George Cornwell and his wife, Cathy of Culpeper; a sister, Mamie Pugh of Charlotte Court House; and a half-brother, Curry Bailey of Aylett. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Cindy Cornwell Thomas and her husband, Chris; and two grandchildren, Matthew and Kelly Thomas all of New Jersey. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 2, 2017, in Rough Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, is serving the family.
