The Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month for April was Charlotte County Meals on Wheels.

“This is a nonprofit organization that delivers meals within Charlotte County to homes of the elderly and people with disabilities who cannot prepare meals for themselves,” chamber officials said in a press release. “Three hot meals a week are prepared in accordance with the needs of the client and include bread, beverage and dessert along with the entrée.”

According to the release, Meals are delivered Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. “Approximately 12,677 meals are delivered annually. The main office for the Meals on Wheels organization is at 8825 Church St. in Keysville. This is a valuable community service, neighbors feeding neighbors/”
