Charlotte County Public School employees Sharon Card, left, and Kyle Johnson recently received certificates from the Southern Virginia Higher Education Center (SVHEC) IT Academy. The two are the newest members of the region’s Information Technology Academy (ITA) workforce who participated in a completion ceremony for the participants in the IT Academy’s third cohort on Jan. 19. The two were among the 19 who were recognized for completing the ITA’s computer and server foundations curriculum and for earning industry recognized CompTIA certifications in A+ on Nov. 11 and Server+ on Dec. 12.
