Juanita Hodnett Johnson, 87, of Charlotte Court House, died on January 6, 2017 at her residence.  She was the daughter of the late Charlie Hodnett and Christine McNair Hodnett, and was the wife of the late Deacon Johnnie Johnson Jr.

She is survived by her children, Van (Jeannie) from Naples, Florida, Barbara from Charlotte Court House, John from Stafford, Ralph from Washington, DC, and Howard (Lorraine) from Charlotte Court House; 11 grandchildren, Dushon Brown Abrams, Renee Johnson, Michael Johnson, John Brown, Chris Brown, Tyrone Brown, Kim Johnson, Erin Johnson-Mack, Brandon Johnson, Justin Johnson, and Leah Johnson; 21 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; two daughters-in-law; nieces; nephews; other relatives and multiple friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, January 14 at Morrison Grove Baptist Church in Charlotte Court House with interment in Union Cemetery.
