Edward Mason Harding, 72, passed away peacefully in his home on January 3, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Camilla Harding.

He is survived by his wife, Carol G. Harding, and two daughters one of which, Holly Harding, was by his side until the end. He had two grandchildren, LizaJane and Levi, both of whom he adored.

Ed was born and raised in Charlotte County and attended Randolph Henry High School where he was an accomplished athlete establishing noteworthy school records in sports. Later, he was an entrepreneur, specialized in excavation and loved what he did.

Ed was greatly loved and will be missed by family and friends.

A service will be held Saturday, January 14 at 2 p.m. at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home, 110 H St, Keysville, VA 23947. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
