Virginia Ferrell Newcomb, 94, of Saxe, who lived with her daughter in Richmond, passed away on December 23, 2016. Virginia is the wife of the late Paul Newcomb.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Garrett; one granddaughter, Wendy Henderson; and one great-grandson Bryce Henderson.

A funeral service was held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 27 at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville with interment in the Saxe Cemetery, Saxe. The family received friends at the funeral home from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday.
