Jean ‘Jeannie’ Carol Feldman

Jean Carol Feldman (Jeannie), of Red Oak, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the age of 78.  She was born in Atlantic City, NJ, moved to Pleasantville, NJ at the time of her marriage and resided there until moving to Virginia in 1992.  Mrs. Feldman was a long distance operator for New Jersey Bell in her earlier years.  She also worked at Answer Com Answering service in Pleasantville for many years and was employed at Playboy Hotel Casino in Atlantic City.  Jeannie was also an associate member of the Telephone Pioneers. She was a volunteer at Shore Memorial Hospital’s Pacemaker Clinic in the Cardio pulmonary department for 18 years and an emergency volunteer for the New Jersey State Police Office of Emergency Management.  Surviving are her husband, Edward of Red Oak; a daughter, Sherry Dellane and her husband, Thomas of Manahawkin, NJ; a son, Scott Feldman and his wife, Anne of Mullica Township, NJ; and her sister, Linda Kellerman and her husband, Paul of Absecon, NJ.  She is also survived by five grandchildren, Jennifer (Derek) Hovey of Winter Park, FL, Stephanie (Brian) Scholtes of Egg Harbor Township, NJ, Dawn (John) Thompson of Mullica Township, NJ, Ryan Dellane and Emily Dellane, both of Manahawkin, NJ, as well as five great-grandchildren, Jake, Carly, Lawson, Brinkley and Addison.
