Residents of Charlotte Court House are wondering about the “Pumpkin Fairy.” Whoever this person or group is left pumpkins throughout the town. Beginning downtown, most of the properties have been decorated on LeGrande and Bruce Davis avenues nearly all the way to Randolph-Henry High School. Pumpkins of various sizes were left on benches, down steps of government buildings and along the edges of driveways during the past few weeks. No one around town knows who left the fall surprises. Those who do know are keeping it secret. Mayor Stephen Walker said, “I am happy to report, I do not know, nor would I tell if I did. Sometimes anonymous good deeds are the best.”
