Trucker’s Parade Against Cancer

The 16th annual Trucker’s Parade Against Cancer will be held Oct. 8, starting at 2 p.m. The parade will begin at 471 Nollie Road, continuing from Red House to Phenix. Places to see the parade include Robbie’s Service Center, the old J.M.J. school, old Jerry’s Market, King Street in Keysville, Old Hilltop Market, Randolph-Henry High School, Keysville Auto Center, Wayland Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, the administration building and Hwy. 47 in Charlotte Court House. Donations can be mailed to TPAC at 471 Nollie Road, Phenix, VA, 23959. Make checks payable to American Cancer Society or ACS. For more info, visit www.truckersparade.com. Rain date will be Oct. 9.
