The Randolph-Henry High School varsity girls volleyball team dropped a pair of district matches last week, running their record to 2-3 overall, 2-2 in the district.

Goochland, the defending Group 2A state champion, beat host R-H 25-20, 25-13, 25-18 on Sept. 6.

On Thursday, R-H was competitive against host Amelia, but the Lady Raiders won 31-29, 25-16, 18-25, 25-23.

R-H hosted Appomattox and Prince Edward on Monday and Tuesday and visits Buckingham on Thursday.
