Mr. Ray Moore Robinson Sr., age 90, of Appomattox, died Saturday, August 6, 2016.

He was the husband of the late Mrs. Ellen Geraldine Robinson; and the son of the late Mr. Johnny Jennings and Mrs. Catherine Robinson.

He is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Robinson, and Fontella Favors; five sons, Ray Robinson Jr. (Margaret), Leroy Robinson (Diane), Rufus Robinson (Armeta), Vincent Robinson (Jean) and Carlyle Robinson; one brother, Mr. Preston Jennings; four sisters-in-law, Mrs. Annette Baker, Mrs. Minnie Haskins, Mrs. Vera Robinson and Mrs. Joyce Robinson; and six brothers-in-law, Mr. Enoch Robinson, Mr. Bill Robinson, Mr. Larry Robinson, Mr. Leon Robinson, Mr. Ryland Robinson and Mr. Joe Robinson.

The funeral service was held on Saturday, August 13, 2016, at Jeffress Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Brookneal with interment in the Beautiful Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
