2016 Charlotte County FFA Annual Banquet

The 2016 Nichol Battiste Horticultural Memorial Award recipient is Kailyn Wray. She accepts the Nichol Battiste Horticultural Memorial Award from Margaret Battiste. This award is given annually in memory of Battiste’s daughter, Nichol.
The 2016 Honorary Chapter FFA Degree recipients are Thomas E. “Ned” Locke Jr. and Dr. Dixie Watts Dalton. The Honorary Chapter FFA Degree is awarded to members of the community who have donated their time and effort to support the local FFA chapters.
The 2016 FFA Star Discovery Award recipient is Hayley Perkinson. The FFA Star Discovery Award is presented to the recipient of the Discovery FFA Degree who has been the most active in support of the local FFA chapter.
The 2016 Outstanding Student in Agriculture Production Award recipients are Ryan Hamlet and Cassie Long. These members received these awards due to their outstanding work in agricultural production classes, including managing the beef cattle herd on Randolph-Henry’s Agricultural Land Lab.
