Singing Stars Gospel Singers, of Saxe, will celebrate its 26th anniversary on July 31, at 3 p.m. at Central Middle School. There will be a $5 donation at the door. Visions Gospel Singers, of Nathalie, and Revelations Gospel Singers, of Farmville, will take part in the event. Prizes will also be given away.

RESPECT

As we grow as unique persons, we learn to respect the uniqueness of others. Friends will be a part of this. They will respect each other’s privacy more than their communion. Let every man and woman be respected as an individual and no man or woman idolized.

We live in each other’s way and stumble over one another. I think we then lose some respect for one another. No one can take away our self-respect if we do not give it to them.
