Mrs. Alma Randolph Fields, age 97, of Brookneal, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Marcellous and Elizabeth Barrett Randolph. She was the wife of the late Mr. Ray McSwain Fields.

She is survived by her daughters, Dora J. Fields of Capital Heights, Md., and Jacquelyne Holcomb of Brookneal, Va.; a special nephew whom she reared as her own, Maurice Randolph of Neptune, N.J.;two granddaughters, LaTasha Fields of Capital Heights, Md., and Dominique Moody of Hopewell, Va.; grandson, Kal-El; brother, Marshall Randolph of Neptune, N.J.; two sisters, Virginia Harris of Red House, Va., and Bertie Baity of Neptune, N.J.; special niece, Rosa Pannell, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services were held Friday, July 8, 2016, at 11 a.m. at the Gethsemane Presbyterian Church in Drakes Branch with interment in the church cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.JeffressFuneralHome.com. Arrangements were by Jeffress Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Brookneal.
