Published 1:17 pm Thursday, June 30, 2016

The community gathered Saturday to celebrate the opening of the Central High Museum. Many in attendance had memories of attending or working at Central High School.

The museum has relics including trophies, newspaper clippings and old photos. They are still accepting community contributions for many of the exhibits.

During the event, Dr. Odessa Pride was the keynote speaker. Town leaders in attendance spoke and shared stories. Music was performed by the Blackstone Community Chorus.

Guests were invited to enjoy the car show, motorcycle show, food from vendors and tours of the museum. All photos by Carson Reeher.
