The Charlotte County Master Gardeners remembered Liz Walker, charter member of the organization, by planting a fringe tree in her memory in Margy’s Garden behind the library in Charlotte Court House. Because Walker concentrated on the beautiful things in life, the master gardeners chose a beautiful fringe tree in her memory. On Thursday, May 12, there was a dedication ceremony where gardeners, her widower and friends gathered to remember Walker. Several people spoke about her, her love of life and her impact on them.
