Randolph-Henry High School will perform the children’s classic The Wizard of Oz on Friday at 7 p.m., and again on Sunday at 2 p.m. In addition, Sunday’s show will have a special meet-and-greet after the performance for all elementary-age children, where they can have their picture taken with members of the cast (bring a camera).

The show stars the award-winning theatre team from Randolph-Henry as well as several newcomers from the elementary and middle schools.

In addition, the show is completely student-designed; students were trained on the lighting and sound board and have completely designed the show as well as created all of the sets and props with just slight adult assistance. Starring cast members include Lizzie Powell (Dorothy), Joey Kelehar (Scarecrow), Alex Barker (Tin Man), Adam Balmer (Lion), Cole Pillow (Toto), Megan Garrett (Witch of the South), Amanda Elsaesser (Wicked Witch), Josh Easter (Wizard) and Alexa Moore (Glenda).

Tickets are $5 and are available at the door.
