The Heart of Virginia Beekeepers will meet on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Prince Edward County Extension Office across from Lowe’s in Farmville. The topic will be “Overview of the symptoms and treatments for parasites and diseases of honey bee colonies.” Although this is a segment of our “Practical Beekeeping for Beginners” class, established members are welcome to attend and sit in.  Anyone who has bees or is interested in bees is welcome to join during the meeting.
