Eight fire companies responded to a structure fire at Blue Ridge Railcar Repair Saturday afternoon.

The fire, which summoned crews from Keysville, Bacon, Drakes Branch, Phenix, Farmville, Charlotte Court House, Meherrin, Hampden Sydney, and Chase City responded to the blaze, reported at about 1 p.m. on Saturday at 3922 Horseshoe Bend Road in Keysville.

The fire has been contained, according to reports. There’s no word in any injuries.
