Virginia Simmons Venable peacefully returned to her maker on Monday, November 2, 2015 at her in home in Saxe, Virginia. She was born April 25,1928 to the late John Robert Simmons and Elenor Alexander Simmons in Boydton, Vriginia.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Venable, three brothers, Alfonso Coleman, Willie and Richard Simmons and one sister, Annie Simmons. She leaves to cherish fond memories, one sister, Sadie Simmons of the home; one brother, Wilburt Turcker; sisters-in-law, Jennie Simmons, Nannie Morton, Elizabeth Venable, Delia West and Lily Venable; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Special friends Carolyn Martin and Ida Spencer.
