On Saturday, Oct. 10, the Marching Statesmen traveled to Midlothian to compete in the Midlothian Showcase of Bands. The Statesmen won the following awards: second place percussion, first place color guard, first place general effect, first place marching, first place music, first place overall in Class A and Grand Champion for Class A and AA.
