Luke Whitlow, a 2015 graduate of Randolph-Henry High School, has been awarded a $1000 scholarship from the Charlotte County Master Gardeners.  He is the son of Phillip and Donna Whitlow of the Old Well community near Phenix.

Currently a student at Southside Virginia Community College, Whitlow hopes to attend VPI upon graduation from SVCC and to major in agribusiness.

The funds raised for Master Gardener scholarships and grants are earned by hard-working Master Gardeners at Florafest.  In the past five years, this group of dedicated gardeners has donated more than $8000 in scholarships and grants to Charlotte County students, schools, and organizations.
