Court House Coffee opens

The rumors are true.

Court House Coffee has opened. After months of preparation, the coffee shop is finally ready to serve the public.

The coffee shop is located in The Scoop ice cream shop, next to Village Antiques, in Charlotte Court House.

The idea has been brewing for some time. Coffee shops provide a place for folks to gather to discuss world and local events.

Students may enjoy hanging out and studying with a group of friends. Businesses may appreciate a place to hold a small meeting that is quiet and more laid back.

Court House Coffee will have internet service available for customer use. The new business invites the community to visit daily for well-made coffee and good conversation.

Court House Coffee will offer espressos, lattes, cappuccinos and frappes.

For the less adventurous, they will also offer hot chocolate, hot tea and freshly ground “regular coffee.”  Court House Coffee offers three signature drinks; Court House Mocha, the Statesman and the CMS.

Each is a combination of ice cream and coffee.

A variety of muffins, bagels and pastries will be available at the shop as well.

Hours of operation will be 6 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and reopen at 4 p.m. to 8 p.m, Monday-Friday.

Saturday hours will be 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday hours 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
