A single-vehicle accident occurred in Cullen this morning on Thomas Jefferson Highway as a 2006 Chevrolet Colorado struck a tree that had fallen across the road due to weather. The driver, Aubry Hamlett, of Cullen, was not charged, according to Virginia State Police Trooper J.V. Bavely.

“(We) just want to advise drivers to be careful because of all the fallen trees, weather, wind and wet roads. Be very careful,” Bavely said.
