The Charlotte Gazette has set a deadline for all news-related political candidate announcements for the Nov. 3 election for 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9.

Candidate announcements after that date and time may not be considered for publication as news. Those who wish to have an announcement of their candidacy in the newspaper should email a press release or announcement and a headshot photograph to hannah.davis@thecharlottegazette.com. No handwritten, faxed or mailed releases will be accepted.
